The Beaumont Estate is located in the relaxed setting of Old Windsor, three miles south of the town of Windsor and close to a number of local visitor destinations. Windsor is a popular town thanks to its royal connections. These connections are hard to miss, with the town centre dominated by the awesome shadow of Windsor Castle, official residence of the Queen.  Windsor Castle is open to the public, and regular guided tours of the state apartments are available.  Guided tours of the world-famous Eton College are also available by advance booking through the college.  Followers of horseracing will find themselves spoilt for choice, with two courses located within a few miles of the Beaumont Estate. Royal Windsor Racecourse lies on the northwestern edge of central Windsor, while Ascot Racecourse is a 20minute drive south, making Beaumont an especially good place to stay in June, during Royal Ascot.

Families will also find plenty of days out in the area. Legoland Windsor, a 15minute drive from the hotel, is a great attraction for families with young children, with rides and games based around the massively popular plastic building brick. Slightly older children will enjoy Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo, which has both gentle rides to suit young children and several more thrilling attractions for older visitors. If Chessington doesn’t have enough to satisfy rollercoaster fans, then Thorpe Park is the place to go with such attractions as Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis providing enough twists, turns and drops to appease any thrill-seeker.
